New website launched

A new year a new website, after a few years using our old website we are happy to launch our brand new website. The new website is less technical but with more general information. If you have any comments or question, please ask!

All ship owners try as hard as possible to save energy and to reduce the CO2 emmision (see Kyoto protocol). We work together with the premium glass manufacturers of Europe and are able to offer you the best solutions. To give you an idea what is possible today with Premium Low E-glass, we give you below a simple calculation, just to show you how to save a lot of your expensive energy and how to reduce tons of CO2 emission.

Calculation model:
1. cruise vessel with app. 2500m2 glass.
2. luxury yacht of 50m with app. 150m2 glass.

If you use Premium Low E-glass (U-value = app. 1,1) instead off single /monolithic glas (U-value = app. 5,7) you have a reduction of app. 95kg CO2 per m2 per year.

The reduction for model:
1. cruise vessel: 2500m2 x 95kg = app. 237 tons
2. luxury yacht: 150m2 x 95kg = app. 14 tons
